Heilongjiang

This northeastern province of China has a population of about 38 million people. Heavy industry, high technology products, organic food processing and pharmaceuticals are its main industries. Heilongjiang has 36 universities and institutes of higher education, 96 vocational schools, 2,759 middle schools, and 13,995 primary schools.
