Social Studies Listserv

The Social Studies e-mail listserv is sent out once a month and details current professional development opportunities. To join, please e-mail Kristin McDaniel.

Opportunities:

• Full-day sectionals related to each of the social studies Wisconsin model academic standards strands in history, geography, political science and citizenship, economics, and the behavioral sciences.
• Additional strands focus on global studies/international education, media and technology and assessment.
• Sectionals for social studies department chairs and curriculum coordinators.
• Pre- and post-conference workshops are available in various subject areas.
• General session speakers vary from year to year.
• An exhibit area includes a wide variety of local, state, and national copies and organizations.
• Complimentary breakfast and a wine and cheese reception are usually available.
