Education and Training

One goal of the Child Care Information Center is to help Wisconsin's child care providers meet their ongoing training needs. Not only can providers find out where training events are occurring in Wisconsin, they can also use CCIC materials to earn 5 hours of continuing education towards relicensing.

Education and Training Calendar

CCIC no longer maintains its own training calendar. For local education and training information, please use T-Net, the Wisconsin Training Network and Event Calendar, by clicking on the following link:

T-Net is the statewide and profession-wide web calendar and training clearinghouse for anyone in the field of child care and education in Wisconsin. From the T-Net website, events and trainings may be sorted according to area of the state, date, topic, sponsor, or presenter. If you are looking for trainings to attend, you will be able to create a personalized calendar or training "shopping cart" by selecting only those events in which you are interested.

The service is free. If your agency offers training, please register as a sponsor now and post your event information directly on the interactive T-Net website as soon as you have your dates finalized. To learn how to post events on T-Net, please follow the instructions at www.t-net.org or email admin@t-net.org or phone The Registry's T-Net staff at 608-222-1123.

T-Net was launched in October 2002 by the Registry, Wisconsin's recognition system for the child care and education profession, and the Child Care Information Center. Please use it frequently to take advantage of new features and training events as they are added.
