The R.E.W.A.R.D.™ WISCONSIN Stipend Program is a compensation and retention initiative for members of the early care and education workforce. Incremental yearly salary supplements are awarded to individuals based on their educational attainments and longevity in the field. This program hopes to encourage increased education and retention through increased compensation.

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® WISCONSIN Scholarship Program

This Scholarship Program sets up a partnership between the recipient, the sponsoring program, and T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® WISCONSIN. It provides financial and other support to complete a series of credit-based courses in one of seven scholarship models: infant toddler, administrators, mentor, apprenticeship, 6-8 credit, Associate degree, or Bachelor degree. Upon completing the required courses, the recipient receives higher compensation or a bonus.

WHEDA's small business financing products include a WHEDA Small Business Guarantee, a Linked Deposit Loan Subsidy, and a Neighborhood Business Revitalization Guarantee. A guarantee is a pledge of support on a bank loan. If you meet their criteria, WHEDA will guarantee a portion of a loan made to you by your local lender.

WWBIC provides hands-on assistance to business owners (women and men) through classes, one-on-one assistance, and financing options. WWBIC has a special program that strives to increase business knowledge, profitability, sustainability, and efficiency for child care providers.

Crisis Respite Child Care Funds
Contact: County or Tribal Social or Human Service Department.
Regulated family or group child care providers who agree to serve children from families under stress or children with handicapping conditions are paid the direct costs of providing child care during a crisis or for a respite when families are under stress.

Contact: County or Tribal Social or Human Service Dept or Wisconsin Works (W-2) Agencies.
Regulated family or group child care providers receive automated payment from the State if they provide child care for eligible low-income working families, teen parents in school, or parents engaged in W-2 employment related activities. A family co-payment may be required.
