This is a list of free brochures about child care that Wisconsin parents, businesses and organizations can order at any time from the Wisconsin Child Care Information Center (CCIC).

All brochures are available in both English and Spanish. Indicate quantity needed under each language column.

Be sure to include your mailing information at the bottom of the screen. Once complete, click the Create Printable Form button to create your customized order form which can be mailed to our office. If you prefer, you can order by phone by calling us at 1-800-362-7353. You may also be able to print some items directly from the links given.

  • This guide for parents summarizes the licensing rules as they pertain to the caregiver, the place and the program. Licensed child care providers are required to distribute this form to the parents of each child upon enrollment. It includes contact information for regional licensing offices. Click on the title above to go directly to the form on the Child Care Licensing website. From there you can print the form as needed on legal size paper. CCIC will fill orders for small quantities.

     

  • A brochure about the Wisconsin child care licensing law, what other types of child care exist and when a license is not needed. Includes information on how to contact resource & referral agencies, certifying agencies, and regional licensing offices.

     

  • A brochure which gives pointers to parents on what to look for in choosing child care or evaluating the child care center or home they are already using, some of their responsibilities as parents and child care users, and how to contact resource & referral agencies, certifying agencies, and regional licensing offices.

     

  • The Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program provides financial assistance to low-income parents on a sliding scale based primarily on income. Payments are made to child care providers chosen by the parent. This brochure briefly discusses eligibility and encourages parents to apply if they think they might qualify.
