Students preparing for health careers or for teaching careers in health occupations can gain valuable career information and network with other professionals by participating in the HSOE program. This program provides students technical skills, health care competencies, and opportunities to obtain the knowledge necessary to satisfy the requirements for entry-level health care jobs. The Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) organization is an integral part of the Health Science Occupations Education instructional program. The purpose of HOSA is to develop leadership and technical skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition. Wisconsin HOSA is a tax-exempt, non-profit educational organization and is affiliated with National HOSA located in Flower Mound, Texas.
