The Department of Workforce Development has the statutory authority for child labor laws. The Child Labor site contains information on Hours of Work for Minors, Prohibited Employment for Minors, and Work Permits. Child Labor regulations (Chapter DWD 270, Wisconsin Administrative Code, Wisconsin Statutes) are also available for review on this site.
