Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America
Becca Bagniewski
State President
|
Greetings, Wisconsin FBLA. My name is Becca Bagniewski, and I am honored to serve you as FBLA State President for the 2011-2012 school year. This year is off to an incredible start with over 1200 members across the state already being involved with conferences such as Local Chapter Officer Training, Fall Leadership Labs, and the National Fall Leadership Conference combined. Hats off to these motivated and ambitious members!
If you havent had the opportunity to attend one of these conferences, I am pleased to invite you to become involved in the several upcoming events that Wisconsin FBLA has in store. The Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) is a great way for FBLA members to show their competitive edge, while meeting new people. RLCs will take place on Saturday February 4, 2011 for each region. The registration window for RLC is now open and will close on Friday December 16, 2011. If you plan to compete, please see that your chapter registers within this time frame.
As the holiday season is in full swing, I challenge FBLA members across the state to conduct community service projects within their chapters and communities to help spread the holiday spirit. If your chapter has plans for a holiday community service project, please email me the details as well as a few photos from your event, as your chapter may be featured on the Wisconsin FBLA Facebook page.
I wish everyone a safe and blessed holiday season. Please be on the lookout for ways that you can make a difference in your community over the next few weeks! Take the opportunity to hold a door open for someone, shovel your neighbors sidewalk, donate to a local food pantry, or even simply spread a smile!
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at wifblapresident12@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing about how your chapter is making a difference in your community!
