Advisory Council Expectations

• Provide lively and informative discussions during meetings
• Attend council meetings on a regular basis
• Remain attuned to Community Education activities - reporting back to the council
• Participate in sub-committees and special task forces as requested
• Attend school board and city council meetings when needed
• Participate in program evaluation
• Participate in annual resource and needs assessments
• Become familiar with all community education programs
• Be respectful of other's opinions and be a good listener
• Listen to community members about program ideas and concerns and bring these ideas/concerns back to the council for discussion
• Review and approve community education budget information
