Profiles of Service-Learning Projects
The DPI Service-Learning Coordinator, has compiled a summary of a number of Wisconsin service-learning projects. These projects provide ideas for service-learning projects. The ultimate goal is to integrate service-learning into the curriculum to improve student learning. Additional project examples will be added periodically to this page.
- Southeast Wisconsin Service Learning
Consortium (SEWSLC) -
SEWSLC is composed of learning institutions, K-12 and higher education, striving to enhance student classroom achievements with applied community learning and to foster meaningful
service-learning partnerships and to build the knowledge, skills, values and behaviors of effective citizenship.

Water Quality Project Has Students Giving Tests -
Seymour High School's Science Club tested 75 water samples for arsenic last year and, due to a new grant, can offer professional follow-up testing to families registering unsafe levels in
the students' tests.
