Wednesday, February 1, 2012, was proclaimed Digital Learning Day in Wisconsin.

As part of a national celebration, the Wisconsin education community promoted and explored digital learning practices for improving students' education, saving time for teachers, and saving money for schools.

On Digital Learning Day

The State Superintendent's Digital Learning Advisory Council released A Vision for Digital Learning in Wisconsin, its statewide digital learning plan, in the form of a website.
An online public showcase (view archived recording), 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on February 1, hosted by State Superintendent Tony Evers and open to the media, featured successful and innovative digital learning practices from Wisconsin schools.
State Supt. Evers held a Digital Town Hall (view archived recording) that afternoon. The state's education community connected around the topic of digital learning.
