ISES Update

ISES - INTERFACE SPECIFICATIONS

The ISES Interface Specifications for the 2007-08 Third Friday of September and 2006-07 Discipline Collections have been published. A second file upload layout and several new data elements have been introduced.

ISES - USER-INITIATED DATA VALIDATION MESSAGES AND BUSINESS RULES

The ISES validation messages have been published for the Third Friday of September Collection, and the Discipline collection. New validation messages have been introduced to accommodate the new data elements. Several existing messages have been revised. Changes and additions are highlighted in blue.

ISES - VENDOR TRAINING

A training session will be held for vendors and technical staff who develop school information software to work with the ISES. This session will present changes including new data elements, business rules and new file layouts for the Individual Student Enrollment System collections for fall 2007. The session will be held in Room 041, of GEF 3 in Madison on Friday, March 23, from 9:00 - 4:30 p.m. To register send your name and company or district name to dpistats@dpi.wi.gov with ISES Vendor Conference Registration in the subject line.

Training sessions appropriate for district and school staff who work with the WSLS and ISES will be also be provided. Later this spring a refresher course will be offered for the WSLS. In the fall two types of ISES training will be offered, a new user / refresher course and a short session covering the changes for Fall 2007.
