ISES Discipline Data Collection

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THIS MESSAGE TO ALL DISTRICT STAFF WORKING IN WSLS or ISES

2006-07 DISCIPLINE DATA TO BE COLLECTED IN ISES

A new record type, file upload format and data elements have been introduced to meet expanded OSEP (Office of Special Education Programs) and EDEN (Education Data Exchange Network) reporting requirements for student discipline data. We encourage districts to verify that student level data required to meet discipline reporting requirements have been collected for the 2006-07 school term. District Administrators, WSLS / ISES Administrators and Vendors were notified in July 2006 of the forthcoming ISES Discipline collection, http://dpi.wi.gov/lbstat/esea072406a.html.
