ISES Update

SUBJECT:	WSLS/ISES Training for 2005

The Department of Public Instruction will hold additional training on the Wisconsin Student Locator System/ Individual Student Enrollment System (WSLS/ISES) on Thursday, July 7, from 8 a.m. until noon in Room 041 at GEF 3, 125 S. Webster St., Madison. The agenda for the training is as follows:

• Overview of New ISES Functions
• File Upload Specification Changes
• Validation Process Specification Changes
• Best Practices and Utilization of ISES Calculated Fields
• Question and Answer Panel Discussion

The primary presenter will be Melissa Aro, and an important part of the program will be the Question and Answer Panel Discussion which will include several of the DPI staff who have been involved in the development of the application and Help Desk functions.

There will be additional training for school districts in new ISES functions in late August.
