Enrollments are reported on the PI-1207 Private School Report. Enrollments are collected as of the third Friday in September.

For the 1998-99 school year, total state private school enrollment is 147,153. There are 73,148 females enrolled (49.71%) and 74,005 males (50.29%).

During the 1997-98 school year, private schools in Wisconsin enrolled 73,133 females (49.63%) and 74,211 males (50.37%) for a total enrollment of 147,344.
