WSLS/ISES SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
DPI recognizes and acknowledges that we are having system performance issues with both WSLS and ISES. We are currently researching the causes with our vendor and are also bringing in additional outside resources to help us pinpoint the problems and help with solutions. We will take the ISES due dates into consideration as we search for a resolution. Currently processing time for file uploads and validations can take up to 36 hours depending on the size of the queue. Please consider this information when planning your work flow.
ISES PROMOTION INDICATOR
Certain warning and error messages regarding Promotion Indicator in the ISES are affecting the Individual Student Record screen, the Full Validation process and preventing certain districts from completing the Lock and Submission process. DPI is addressing these issues and will notify Vendors and Districts when the resolution is implemented.
The ISES Calculated Fields document, http://lbstat.dpi.wi.gov/lbstat_isescalc#promotion, has been updated to reflect the anticipated modifications. The ISES Validation Messages will be updated when the resolution is implemented, http://lbstat.dpi.wi.gov/files/lbstat/xls/isesvalid.xls.
ISES FULL TERM DROPOUTS
ISES is in some cases incorrectly identifying records as possible full term drop outs. A fix is currently in progress. Until it is implemented, we advise you to postpone work with the full term dropout records.
