New Wisconsin Promise

In a State Capitol ceremony on October 13, 2008, State Superintendent Elizabeth Burmaster and First Lady Jessica Doyle congratulated 182 New Wisconsin Promise Schools of Recognition.

A high bandwidth internet connection and Windows Media Player are required. These programs will not play properly over a dialup connection.
     
   
     

Later in the ceremony, representatives of the schools came forward to receive their awards. Singers from Eau Claire North closed the event. Video Video

On January 15, 2008, Burmaster delivered the Welcome Remarks for the New Wisconsin Promise Conference. Video Video

On October 18, 2004, 137 Wisconsin schools were honored as New Wisconsin Promise Schools of Recognition in a ceremony at the State Capitol. Video Video

The first awards program honoring 113 New Wisconsin Promise Schools of Recognition was held on May 11, 2004. Video Video
