WKCE Data and Results
Results of statewide achievement tests known as the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examinations (WKCE) may be viewed or downloaded from this site. These tests are given annually to students at grades four, eight, and ten. The WKCE measures achievement in reading, language, mathematics, science, and social studies using multiple-choice and short-answer questions. Students also provide a rough draft writing sample.
Results are available in the formats described below:
- WINSS - Wisconsin's Information Network for Successful Schools
State test results are provided in graph and table format to help display information related to how students are performing academically. The WINSS system provides a searchable view of school or district data. Data displayed is for current and previous years and can be sorted by grade level, gender, race/ethnicity, economic status, disability, English proficiency, and migrant status.

- Online Reporting System (ORS)
The ORS consists of a secure Private Site (accessible to DAC's with password) primarily designed to view non-public versions of WSAS assessment results. The data that comprises the Private Site is not suppressed to protect the identity of individual students as is public data. In addition, the system contains individual student data; consequently, Private district data contained in the Private Site is subject to the following statement: Privacy Notice These reports are NOT for public review. Distribution within your school/district must be in accordance with state and federal privacy laws, and local school board policy.

The tab-delimited files are included in one zipped self-extracting file for each year. Each self-extracting file is approximately 2 MB.
Additional WKCE Summaries
