Wisconsin LSTA Grant Awards:
January - December 2006

The following LSTA projects were approved for funding in 2006 by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Elizabeth Burmaster. The LSTA program grants total $3.1 million. The Department of Public Instruction Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning administers Wisconsin's yearly LSTA allocation of federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a federal agency responsible for strengthening libraries and museums. Some of the grant awards, particularly those administered by public library systems, may be listed in more than one congressional district because they cover large geographic areas, multiple counties, etc. Abstracts of projects and lists of projects by grant category also are available.
