Programs and Services

All of the programs and services of the Child Care Information Center are free to Wisconsin residents.*

CCIC is one of the services of the Department of Children and Families' Bureau of Early Childhood Education. CCIC can help you in the following ways:

Information Services

You may request:

• CCIC Newsletters.
• Brochures on selecting and evaluating child care.
• Brochures on child development.
• Brochures for parents.
• Brochures suggested by the licensing agent.
• Guidelines and tip sheets on early childhood care and education.
• Referrals to other child care agencies and experts.
• Journal article reprints.

Lending Services

Early childhood and child care professionals may borrow:

• Videos and CDs.
• Books.

Learning Services

You may ask for:

• Help using T-Net, the Wisconsin Training Network and Event Calendar.
• Videos for continuing education credits.
• Multimedia learning packets for in-service programs.
• Help to plan talks and presentations.

* The only cost is return postage for books and videos.
