All of the programs and services of the Child Care Information Center are free to Wisconsin residents.*

CCIC is one of the services of the Department of Children and Families' Bureau of Early Childhood Education. CCIC can help you in the following ways:

You may request:

  • Brochures on selecting and evaluating child care.
  • Brochures on child development.
  • Brochures for parents.
  • Brochures suggested by the licensing agent.
  • Guidelines and tip sheets on early childhood care and education.
  • Referrals to other child care agencies and experts.
  • Journal article reprints.
