  Ask?Away Logo

Ask?Away is a service provided by a consortium of reference librarians throughout the state, nationally and globally. If you would like an immediate response anytime night or day use the chat form below to begin a live chat session and a librarian in the nationwide AskAway group will respond.

You can use the email form to submit a question via email, and a librarian from the Wisconsin Reference and Loan Library will respond within 24 to 48 hours. If you have a question about the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), navigating the DPI website, searching BadgerLink or using WISCAT, you may want to use the email form to connect directly with the Reference and Loan Library. The Reference and Loan Library responds to questions about DPI and it is the agency that provides and supports BadgerLink and WISCAT.

If you want to contact a specific local Wisconsin library click here for a directory. On the library's website, look for information on how to contact Reference Service. Most libraries offer help by telephone and email when they're open. Remember you can login to AskAway chat anytime night or day if you need help with your information needs when your local library is closed.
