June Technology Academy setThe Eastern Wisconsin Instructional Technology Consortium (EWITC) group of CESA 7 area schools has presented summer technology training for the past six years, helping hundreds of teachers and administrators hone their technology skills. The consortium again invites educators to this year’s tech academy in Manitowoc, June 19-23. Sessions include Kidspiration, digital camera integration in the classroom, blogging, handhelds in the classroom, MovieMaker, iPhoto, portfolios for teachers, and more. A full list of sessions is available. Sessions are available at no charge to EWITC member school districts. The cost per three-hour session for non-members is $25. Participants can sign up for one to three graduate credits through UW-Green Bay. If you sign up for graduate credit, the cost of the sessions is included in the fee. A portion of the graduate credit course will be held on Friday morning, June 16 for all students; that evening for two- and three-credit students; and again Monday, June 26th for two- and three-credit students. For more information about the offerings and the related grad course being offered through UW-Green Bay, for directions to the training site at Manitowoc Lincoln High School, or to register online, go to http://www.solutionwhere.com/cesa7/cw/showconference.asp?969, or e-mail Melanie Reineke.
