UW-Madison conference invites proposals

The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education/Outreach has issued a call for proposals to present a workshop, information session, course design showcase, or roundtable discussion at their Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning, scheduled for August 8-10 in Madison. Educators are invited to share their experience in the application of technology to teaching and learning; advise others in the planning, administration, and management of distance education programs; demonstrate successful course materials; or guide discussions among colleagues.

The Annual Conference on Distance Teaching & Learning is recognized as one of the premier events on distance education. The conference gathers educators, trainers, managers, and designers from throughout the world who are involved in distance education programs. Details about the conference and how to submit a proposal online are available at www.uwex.edu/disted/conference. Proposals are due by January 17.
