'Into the Book' receives National Parents' Choice Silver Award

"Into the Book," a multi-media teaching resource designed to enhance reading comprehension strategies, received the National Parents Choice Sliver Award. The educational television program is produced by the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and a team of experienced educators.

Parents' Choice awards are selected annually and go to those identified as "the best products for children of different ages, backgrounds, skills, and interests." The awards are given to products that meet and exceed standards set by educators, scientists, performing artists, librarians, parents, and children.
