DPI’s Steve Sanders receives 'Making It Happen' award

Steve Sanders, director of the Department of Public Instruction’s Instructional Media and Technology Team, received the 2007 "Making It Happen" award from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) at the Wisconsin Educational Media Association conference held earlier this spring in Madison.

The "Making It Happen" program identifies and rewards educational technology leaders around the world for their commitment and innovation. Don Knezek, ISTE CEO, presented Steve with his "Making It Happen" jacket honoring his more than 25-year commitment to instructional technology and 21st century learning at the local, state, and national level.
