Webcasts Address School Violence PreventionThe latest installment in a new series called School Crisis Preparedness Monthly Webcasts will go live June 19. Viewers will learn about the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, a comprehensive, school-wide approach that has been implemented in more than a dozen countries, and Second Step, an award-winning program that teaches social and emotional skills for violence prevention. Presenters will include Lynn Laska of Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) 9 and Laura Meverden of the Appleton YMCA's Camp Nan A Bo Sho and Bruce B. Purdy Nature Preserve.
