New teacher resources on Ide@s website

The Ide@s website currently features about 50 resources which have been added or updated in the last month. See: http://ideas.wisconsin.edu/latest.cfm

Ide@s is a search-engine-based site that provides Wisconsin educators with teacher-reviewed, standards-aligned lessons, interactive tools, video, and other resources.
The idea is to compile these offerings so that teachers no longer have to look through dozens of online listings. Resources can be sorted by grade level, subject, or academic standard. Additionally, the most popular offerings are featured at http://ideas.wisconsin.edu/brightideas.cfm and video resources are pulled out at http://ideas.wisconsin.edu/videoideas.cfm. Ide@s also features teacher reviews of the listings and notes on exactly which state standards they address.

The project is sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-System and the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Selected PK-16 educators from Wisconsin work in teams to identify, evaluate, catalog, and align to the state education standards resources that are already on the internet such as lesson plans and reference materials.
