4. Crossing Guard Recognition Week scheduled for January

The eighth annual Wisconsin Adult School Crossing Guard Recognition Week will take place January 7-11, 2008.

An idea sheet at http://www.adtsea.iup.edu/wisconsin/wiscrossinginfo08.htm lists ways to recognize the work of your school's crossing guards, such as inviting local media to highlight the crossing guards, providing snacks or hand warmers, circulating copies of State Superintendent Elizabeth Burmaster's Crossing Guard Recognition Week proclamation, or simply making sure to say "thank you."
