Charter School Visitation Days for 2011-12 School Year

Model Charter School Visitation Days, 2011-2012 School Year

If your district and community is interested in innovation and transformation in education, consider a visit to one or more of the model charter schools in Wisconsin. These schools have demonstrated at least 4 years of successful operations and innovations. They are demonstrating high levels of academic achievement, incredible student engagement and community involvement, and in some cases are teacher-led schools.

The host schools listed below invite interested district and community planning teams to visit during their visitation days and to learn about how their success has changed teaching and learning in their community. There are some federal dissemination grant funds available to cover the cost of substitute teachers. Check with the schools you intend to visit for details.

These are challenging economic times that demand innovation from our educators. Consider visiting some of these schools and perhaps join in the collaborative spirit of empowering your staff and community to transform education, one school at a time.
