Local Performance Plan (LPP)

Special Education District Profile

DPI is required to submit to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), an Annual Performance Report (APR) describing the State’s progress or slippage in meeting the State Performance Plan targets. In addition, DPI must report annually to the public on the performance of each LEA on Indicators 1-14. For Indicators 7, 8, and 14, DPI will collect a sample of data. For Indicators 11 and 13, DPI will collect data through its monitoring cycle of LEAs. However, DPI must collect and report on the performance of each LEA on each of the indicators at least once during the course of the SPP. For all other indicators for which DPI is required to report at the LEA level, DPI will report annually on every LEA. The department will report LEA data through the Special Education District Profile.
