Indicator #13 Assessment

Indicator 13 is assessed through an annual data collection for all LEAs beginning in the 2011-12 school year. With LEA input, DPI is developing an online IEP transition form that will assist LEAs to meet the transition requirements with 100% compliance. LEAs not participating in developing the online form will complete the Indicator 13 Assessment by November 15, 2011. A random selection of districts will be required to report results to the department through the Special Education Web Portal.

• Regional Technical Assistance Meetings provide technical assistance for completing Indicator #13 data. This one-day hands-on professional development offering sponsored by the Wisconsin Statewide Transition Initiative (WSTI) and the department in the year prior to the Indicator 13 Assessment will be offered in each CESA via ITV/distance learning at various sites and dates. All LEAs are invited to participate. Contact a CESA Regional Service Network (RSN) representative to register to participate.
