  • To what extent do extra- and co-curricular activities serve each subgroup of the student population?
  • To what extent does the range of extra- and co-curricular activities represent the range of interests and talents exhibited by the student population? Does every child see a place for themselves in the available activities?
  • What relationship can be seen between participation in extra-curricular activities, and improvements in student achievement amongst those students who have previously not been achieving at proficient levels?
  • What characteristics of extra-curricular activities are most valued by students, and how can these characteristics be embedded into academic coursework during the day?
  • What connections might be explored with the community to extend the learning opportunities available to students beyond the school day?
