State, district and school proficiency summary reports, writing scores, and percentile ranks are available for downloading at this site. All files are Excel 5.0/95 files.

Proficiency results are provided for all students enrolled and are sorted by gender, race, and other student groups. Writing scores and percentile ranks are provided for all students tested but are not available by student group.

District and school files are large because they contain results for every district and school in Wisconsin. The type of information provided in the state, district and school files is the same. You may wish to download a much smaller 4th grade state-level file (75K) for information about the content and format of the district and school files.

NOTE:

Some column and row information, such as CESA codes and district numbers, are "hidden" in some files. To unhide, click on the upper left corner of the spreadsheet where the letters and rows intersect. Then click on "Format", "Column", "Unhide".

FAY means full academic year. SDISOOD includes students with disabilities who live in this district but attend school in another district due to exceptional educational needs.

Demographic data contained in these files are the data reported by school districts and were not audited by the testing contractor or the Department of Public Instruction. In order to reduce the data collection burden, default demographic codes were used when student data were hand-gridded if the vast majority of students statewide were in a specific demographic category. For example, districts were only required to hang-grid data for "students with disabilities." All students not marked as students with disabilities were automatically coded "nondisabled." No default codes were used for race/ethnicity. Missing race/ethnicity codes were reported as "missing."
