What is the purpose of the DPI Educators' Resource Center?


The DPI Educator Resource Center provides access to resources (information, worksheets, links) that can help to facilitate effective youth sexual risk behavior prevention programming in Wisconsin's schools and communities.

Who is this site intended to serve?


This site is designed to serve staff from Wisconsin schools, community-based organizations, and government agencies, as well as others in Wisconsin who are working to prevent youth sexual risk-taking and its health consequences.

What does this site contain?


This site addresses four major program-related activities:
1. Needs and Assets Assessment
2. Program Planning
3. Program Evaluation
4. Program Sustainability

Each activity area contains:

--A definition of the activity

--A summary of the activity's importance to youth sexual risk behavior prevention programming

--A case study demonstrating how an agency has successfully engaged in that activity

--Links to reports, checklists, and other resources that can help you to carry out the activity more effectively
