Wisconsin State Personnel Development Grant [SPDG] - Purpose is to improve educational results for children with disabilities through the delivery of research based professional development that is implemented and sustained by statewide and local training and technical assistance systems

Standard e PI 8.01(2) (e).
  • School districts plan and implement a program to provide guidance and counseling services to all pupils enrolled in the district. The program shall be planned and implemented to meet age and grade level appropriate personal, social, educational, and career/vocational child development and learning needs. Consistent with the school district goals for education, the program will foster lifelong attitudes toward learning and career/ employment goals as well as positive attitude toward self, family, and society.

Standard L PI 8.01(2)(L)5.
  • An introduction to career exploration and planning, through a one-semester course or the equivalent in instructional time and course content, shall be integrated within grades 5 through 8.
