Renewal Tips for Educators With an Initial Administrator/Pupil Services License and a Professional Teacher License

Scenario #1: You are working in an administrator/pupil services position, and your licenses both expire the same year
Advance your administrator license to the Professional level and renew your teacher license with your administrator PDP.

Scenario #2: You have an initial administrator/pupil services license but have not worked in that position at least three years
You need to complete the professional development requirements for your teacher license (6 credits or PDP, depending on whether you completed your program before or after 8/31/2004) to renew your teacher license and then also apply to have your you initial administrator/pupil services license reissued.

Scenario #3: You are working as an administrator, but your teacher license expires before you will finish your PDP.
You need to decide if you want to keep your teacher license active or to let it lapse.
