Additional Professional Growth Requirement

Driver education license renewal requires possession of a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and completion of the professional growth requirement.

Exception to Professional Growth Requirement: Individuals who hold a Wisconsin life license to teach and who held an initial driver education license with an effective date no later than July 1, 1980, may renew a regular driver education license by attending 3 annual department approved traffic safety related conferences and 3 traffic safety related workshops within the 5 years immediately preceding renewal of his/her driver education license.
