Annual Supply and Demand Reports may be of interest to educators, prospective educators, job-seekers, parents, education employers, educational administrators, researchers, and educational policymakers in Wisconsin. The Supply and Demand Report also fulfills the reporting requirements of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
The project is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and federal discretionary monies from the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and is based on:
- School district survey responses to questions regarding teacher supply, identified vacancies, perceived shortages, and teaching force demographics
- School district staff data reported annually to the Department of Public Instruction
- Department data on emergency licenses/permits and
- Program completer data submitted by public, private, and alternative approved educator preparation program providers.
Each report includes school district survey data and rating maps. You can view the pdf version of each year's report from the following list. Please allow a few minutes to download for the report to open due to large file size.
