ROOM: Hall of Ideas HI

Business/Community Partnerships

Nicole Rice, Workforce Services Coordinator, North Central WI Workforce Development Board; Jane Spencer

The ACP implementation process offers a diverse and exciting range of opportunities to engage with local community and business partners in new ways. This session will explore the variety of resources available through the Job Center system such as career cluster exploration, youth apprenticeship, work experience, job shadowing, resume building, and labor market considerations that can be leveraged to enhance components of the ACP implementation process. The North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board and Job Center Partners are already engaging in the ACP process and are eager to assist the K-12 system to ensure that all students are career and college ready.
