Event Description

Full implementation of Academic and Career Planning (PI26) requires districts/schools to have a process to engage families regarding ACP services provided and opportunities to participate. This one-day training is designed to explore the power of partnerships through family engagement in the academic and career planning process. Participants will: (1) investigate the characteristics of successful partnership programs and factors that promote engagement, (2) define the role of families in the ACP process, and (3) design strategies for enhancing family engagement at the local level.
