Dear District Administrators,
Today, State Superintendent Tony Evers testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (H.E.L.P. Committee) on the Every Student Succeeds Act, or ESSA. State Superintendent Evers, as the current President of the Council of Chief State School Officers, was invited by Committee Chair Senator Alexander to be a part of a panel at a hearing convened to provide the committee with state and local education perspectives regarding the implementation of ESSA.
