Hearing to accept public testimony

Event Description

Purpose:

This hearing is to accept public testimony on the following proposed administrative rules:

• Clearinghouse Rule 25-038, relating to modifying the one-year, renewable license with stipulations for school psychologists
• Clearinghouse Rule 25-041, relating to Tier I special education aide program licenses
• Clearinghouse Rule 25-042, relating to recognizing national certification for school counselor and school social worker licensure
• Emergency Rule 2506, relating to modifying the 1-year, renewable license with stipulations for school psychologists

The Department will hold the public hearing by conference call only. Written comments received no later than the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.

A copy of each proposed rule is available to view on the department's Administrative Rules webpage or the Wisconsin Legislature Rules site. Written comments on the proposed permanent rule may be made via the Legislature’s form for submitting public comment. Questions or additional testimony on the rules may be sent by email to the department’s administrative rules officer.
