Individualized Learning Plans: Designing Quality & Comprehensive
K-12 Career Development Programs & Services

This webinar will highlight how the Pewaukee School District in Wisconsin has designed and implemented individualized learning plans, which Wisconsin refers to as Academic and Career Plans (ACP). Presenter Adriana Plach, ACP Coordinator for the Pewaukee School District, has worked to develop partnerships with families and the greater community to ensure that students in their district are equipped with the education, skills, and experiences they need to be competitive in 21st Century careers. To this end, the Pewaukee School District has developed and streamlined an individualized learning process (ILP) through the implementation of the ACP for students at all levels of education. Ms. Plach will describe the steps taken in Pewaukee to design and implement an effective ACP program, including creating leadership teams, defining a vision, creating a scope and sequence, delivering professional development, collecting feedback, building a website, and launching the ACP process throughout the district. The webinar will be facilitated by Dr. V. Scott Solberg of Boston University.
