State Superintendent's Business Friends of Education Recognition Levels

An organization will be recognized as a State Superintendent’s Business Friend of Education for participation in any activity that supports one or more public schools, districts, or students, upon submission and review of an application. Organizations will be recognized at various levels for more significant scope and diversity of participation. Higher levels of recognition may be awarded by participating in multiple activities and/or scope of involvement, as explained below.

Recognition Levels

Bronze Level 

The Bronze Level of recognition is achieved by an organization that receives 5-11 cumulative points for activities that support Wisconsin public schools and students. Achieving this level of recognition requires contribution to one or more public schools or districts. Compiling sufficient points to earn Bronze Level recognition will typically indicate an organization has provided and/or has been involved in multiple initiatives that positively impact students.

Silver Level 

The Silver Level of recognition is achieved by an organization that participates in multiple activities and receives 11-14 cumulative points for activities that support Wisconsin public schools and students. Achieving this level of recognition requires contribution to one or more public schools or districts. Compiling sufficient points to earn Silver Level recognition will typically indicate an organization has provided leadership, support, and/or has been involved in multiple initiatives that positively impact students.

Gold Level 

The Gold Level of recognition is achieved by an organization that participates in at least two of four categories and receives 15-21 cumulative points for its activities that support Wisconsin public schools and students. Achieving this level of recognition requires contribution to one or more public schools or districts in a way that reflects broad scope and diversity of activities. Compiling sufficient points to earn Gold Level recognition will typically indicate an organization has provided leadership, support, and/or has been involved in a variety of educational initiatives over an extended period of time.

Platinum Level 

The Platinum Level of recognition is achieved by an organization that participates in at least three of four categories and receives 15-21 cumulative points for its activities that support Wisconsin public schools and students. Achieving this level of recognition requires contribution to one or more public schools or districts in a way that reflects significant scope and diversity of activities. Compiling sufficient points to earn Platinum Level recognition will typically indicate the organization has provided leadership, supported numerous educational initiatives over an extended period of time.
