Join the Non-School SMP

Are you interested in joining the Non-School Special Milk Program (SMP)? Check out the Non-School Special Milk Program Information Sheet. 

Types of Non-School Agencies: 

• Child Care Institutions
• Summer Camps
• Homeless Feeding Sites
• Outside of School Hours Care Centers
• Other non-school agencies providing services to children

Programs that want to join must meet the following requirements:

• Have a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) of organization (IRS Form, SS-4, or IRS Form 1120)
• Be a public or non-profit agency that has IRS Tax Exempt status (i.e. 501 (c) 3)
• Have or obtain a Unique Entity ID (UEI)
• Do not participate in any other Child Nutrition Program (i.e. the Child and Adult Care Food Program [CACFP] or the Summer Food Service Program [SFSP])
• DPI Agency Code (if applicable): agencies that currently participate in another child nutrition program, or that has participated in a child nutrition program in the past, must provide the DPI assigned agency code
