Overview
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) review assesses an agency's administration and operation of the SFSP. The reviews are conducted by DPI's Nutrition Program Consultants from the Community Nutrition Team.
Reviews are typically completed on a three-year review cycle and may be announced or unannounced. Reviews may be conduced more frequently based on outcomes from previous reviews.
The objectives of the review are to:
- Assess the agency’s compliance with Program requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and support.
- Secure any needed corrective action and assess fiscal action, if applicable.
