Program Description
The Wisconsin state budget includes funding for 4K Start-Up grants. Grants are awarded by formula based on enrollment in 4K programs. If districts are are utilizing a community approach to 4K (4KCA), they will need to have a council and contracts with child care and/or Head Start providers. Cycle 12 Start-Up grants will be available in April 2019 for districts implementing in 2019-2020.
