Event Description

This hearing is to accept public testimony on proposed permanent rule Clearinghouse Rule 22-012, relating to changes to criteria relating to specific learning disabilities. The proposed rule seeks to update ch. PI 34 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code with respect to the department’s Tier I, 3-year school district-sponsored license with stipulations which create transparency for license applicants and clarify licensing requirements, licensing processes, and application timelines.

The Department will hold the public hearing by teleconference only. Written comments received no later than the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.

A copy of the proposed rule is available on the department's Administrative Rules webpage or the Wisconsin Legislature Rules site. Written comments on the proposed permanent rule may be made via the Legislature’s form for submitting public comment.
