Administrative Rules Hearing – PI 37 (Grants for National Teacher Certification or Master Educators Licensure

This hearing is to accept public testimony to consider the promulgation of administrative rules under the following statement of scope:

SS 105-24, on a proposed permanent rule to amend ch. PI 37, relating to revisions to grants for National Teacher Certification and Master Educator Licensure.

The Department will hold the public hearing by conference call only. Written comments received no later than the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.

As required in rulemaking, the Department will consider all testimony given at the preliminary hearing prior to drafting a proposed rule that will be submitted to the Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse. When a proposed rule is available for review, the department will conduct additional hearings to accept public testimony on the proposed rule.

A copy of the proposed rule is available on the department's Administrative Rules webpage or the Wisconsin Legislature Rules site. Written comments on the proposed permanent rule may be made via the Legislature’s form for submitting public comment. Questions or additional testimony on the rules may be sent by email to the department’s administrative rules coordinator.
