The State Superintendent’s Advisory Council on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Issues will meet on Friday, October 22, 2021, to continue discussion and work on issues related to Wisconsin’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students.

• Reports from the Wisconsin Education Services Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Discussion Items:
o 2021-2022 Focus Areas for DHH Council
o Individualized Education Program Form Change
o Signing Aides
o Educational Interpreters
o Substitute Educational Interpreter Rule Change
o Primary Disability and gathering accurate data for DHH students in WI
o Certified Deaf Interpreter - WI Department of Safety and Professional Services license to work in K-12 settings
